Will is a proud father and husband who grew up in Houston, TX. Since his childhood Will has been an active participant in change around the world. Will has volunteered several hours to his community with his local church, non-profit organizations and as a first responder serving as a EMT for over 4 years. Will has also served as a minister and community outreach planner for religious organizations and still serves today as an Administrative Director for his local congregation.

Here's a word from our Founder and Owner:

My love for coffee began during my service in the United States Navy when he traveled to Ethiopia and witnessed his first coffee ceremony. Witnessing the beauty of that ritual, I realized that coffee has always been about sharing with others. From that day I wanted to see how other cultures shared the world's most cultivated bean from the Land of Kush. That's how the concept of KushBean was born in a small shop in an Airport of Ethiopia.

I've enjoyed several varieties of coffee from different cultural perspectives, like Turkish coffee, Korea Coffee, Ethiopian, French and even the Navy cup of turpentine. But what I remember the most are the conversations, smiles, and laughter with new friends. Now I hope to share my love and experiences with you over a cup of KushBean Coffee with you.
